When I scratch myself without being aware of it, the action of my hand would be preceded by something happening in my brain. Does that mean that there is an unconscious thought involved?

I suppose it does. Actually, there might be a series of unconscious thoughts involved - e.g. feeling an itch, the desire to scratch and (hopefully) some consideration of whether other people are present and whether scratching would be appropriate.

Winton Bateshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07383561940886657594noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1089082204850170942.post-58074336652925286642013-04-05T12:36:53.606+11:002013-04-05T12:36:53.606+11:00So, what I was getting at is that action is preced...So, what I was getting at is that action is preceded by UNCONSCIOUS thought...Thought Bubble Tenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13665668153611429559noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1089082204850170942.post-33021500901269323372013-04-05T11:17:17.293+11:002013-04-05T11:17:17.293+11:00Welcome back, TBT.
